Demonstrating the excellent links and relationships we have with Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, the Bolton MRT was present today to display some of our our vehicles and specialist search and rescue equipment at the GMFRS Irlam Community Fire Station Open Day.

Team members Dave Marsh, Steve Fletcher, Kris Kilshaw, Neil Warburton and Phil Crook were present today alongside our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance, call sign ‘Bolton Mobile 2’ and our Incident Control Vehicle, call sign ‘Bolton Mobile 6.’

Present from GMFRS was a range of current operational Fire Appliances on display, Vintage Fire Engines from the Greater Manchester Fire Museum, refreshments and displays of RTC casualty extrication, and their impressive ‘kitchen fire’ demonstration unit.
