On Saturday 1st June 2013, members of the Fire Brigade Society (the organisation for fire and rescue enthusiasts) whilst on a visit to GMFRS Bolton Central Community Fire Station, also visited the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

Their visit was part of the Fire Brigade Society ‘Founders Day’ celebrations, to which Bolton MRT Call Out list member Dave Cook was invited to on the same afternoon.

Following their visit to see our vehicles, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE and Dave Cook very kindly received complimentary copies of the Fire Brigade Society publication, Fire Cover (June 2013 No 200 issue)

They have both also kindly received recently complimentary copies of Fire Cover, August 2013, No 201 issue, with the news that the Fire Brigade Society is considering a fully illustrated article on the Bolton MRT in their December 2013 next issue, the details of which our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE has been liaising with the Fire Brigade Society on.
