Earlier today we received the following email from Greater Manchester Police regarding our search yesterday:

Hi,
We would just like to thank you for your help and support with regards for the search for the missing male in Rivington in the early hours of Sunday 8th September. Mountain Rescue found the male in the area after a long search carried out by Police, Helicopter and Mountain Rescue.

Without their help and support this would not have been possible.

Please could you pass our thanks onto the the members involved in the search.
