Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

14th September 2013

Our Support Group visited Morrisons Store, Atlas Mills, today to hold a charity collection for the Team, thanks to permission granted by the store Community Champions, formerly Judith Lilley and currently Keri Latham. Support Group members Amanda Strickleton, Iain Clarkson, Sarah Hindle, Laura Tunnicliffe and Julie Thompson, collected throughout the day on a rota basis and were joined by our three newest members, Gary Melia, Andy Hitchon and Jenny Bourne, attending their first store collection for the Support Group.

We are delighted to report that the marvellous sum of £365.70 was donated towards our work by the generous customers who kindly dropped their donations into our buckets.

Bolton Mountain Rescue Team relies heavily on public donations to maintain our search and rescue service, so we are very grateful for this public generosity and interest in our work, and wish to thank all those who contributed and also Morrisons, Atlas Mills, for allowing us into their store to fundraise.
