Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

26th September 2013

This evening the team welcomed to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ a visit by nine interested Scouts from the 46th Ormskirk (Mawdesley) Scout Group, alongside their Scout Leader Matt Spencer, their Assistant Scout Leader David Brierley, and two accompanying adults.

They were met by experienced Team Call Out list members Paul Copley, Naomi Horan, Matthew Hailwood, Kris Kilshaw and Trainee Team member Michael Wakerley.

After a showing of two short DVDs outlining our work, all our keen and interested visitors were shown around our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicle, radio callsign ‘Bolton Mobile 4,’ which is based at our Ladybridge hall Base / HQ, and were then given ‘hands on’ demonstrations of our Trauma Sac and its contents, our Bell Mountain Rescue Stretcher and our wide range of medical splints.

After lots of interesting questions from the Scouts, their Leaders and adults with them, the group kindly thanked our five team members present for an enlightening evening in our company.
