Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

16th October 2013

This morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received a fourth very kind email about this weekends Foundation Course in Mountain Rescue, this time from North East Wales Search and Rescue Deputy Team Leader Chris Griffiths;

“Hi Garry,
just wanted to pass on my and Iain’s (Webmaster, Iain Ashcroft, Team Leader of NEWSAR) thanks for another superb weekend. It amazes me that so much can be fitted into such a short amount of time – which is testament to both your organisation/planning and the drive of your staff.”

“Our 3 trainees had a fantastic time and left Bibby’s knackered but wiser and fully enthused for their life in MR.”

“I really enjoyed my role as a mentor, especially working alongside ’Mr Marsh’ (Webmaster, Dave Marsh, our Training Officer) – so it was a good learning experience for me too.”

“Roll on 2014……..I’m packed and raring to go already!”

“Please pass on our thanks and best wishes to your team.
Chris Griffiths,
NEWSAR DTL.”

We are also aware of many excellent comments on Facebook and Twitter regards this Foundation Course held over this immediate past weekend.

Please also see website ‘News’ report dated Tuesday 15th October, Monday 14th October and Sunday 13th October 2013.

The date of next years Bolton MRT Foundation Course in Mountain Rescue residential weekend is now confirmed as Friday 17th October to Sunday 19th October 2014.
