17th October 2013

This morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received a sixth very kind email about this weekends Foundation Course in Mountain Rescue, this time from Jane Wilcock, of Greater Manchester Police, who jointly attended the weekend with her GMP colleague Melanie Jackson, both of GMP Bolton Division, to find out ‘first hand’ what mountain rescue ‘is about’;

“Garry and our new friends at the Bolton Mountain Rescue.”

“Thank you for the valuable information provided to Jane and Mel ( GMP) as welcomed guests on your 2013 Foundation course. We were made to feel welcome and supported and have lasting memories that will stay with us.

We learnt valuable skills and have nothing but admiration for the excellent service that you provide to the people of Bolton and surrounding areas.
Thanks again,
Jane Wilcock (14078) and Mel Jackson (1832)”
