This evening the Guides and their Leaders from 58th Bolton Christ Church Walmsley (Egerton) Guides, visited the team at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ, for a presentation on the work of the team.

Meeting them were Team Call Out list members Paul Copley, Kris Kilshaw, Matthew Hailwood and Trainee Team Call Out list member Michael Eddleston.

The following account of this evenings visit has been submitted by Team Call Out list member Paul Copley;

“This evening the team was visited by the 58th Bolton Christ Church Walmsley Guides. The group consisted of their leader Wendy McKenna, Claire Bell and 18 guides.”

“Their hosts for the evening were Paul Copley, Kris Kilshaw, Matt Hailwood and Michael Eddlesdon.”

“They were shown two short films during an introduction to the team, followed by a talk and then a questions and answers session.”

“The group were then taken to view the team vehicles and given a demonstration of some of the teams equipment that is carried on our team vehicles, followed by another chance for the Guides to ask many more interesting questions about what we do.”

“Bolton MRT would like to thank the Guides for taking the time to visit the team and we were grateful for the great interest and varied questions on the night.”

“At the conclusion of their visit, Wendy McKenna the Guide leader promised to contact the team soon with a kind donation to support our work.”
