This evening our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE and Team Equipment Officer – IT and Communications, Steve Fletcher, visited NWAS (Greater Manchester Area) Parkway Emergency Operations Centre, meeting Control Room Manager Martin Hawksworth, to discuss communications interoperability issues, with particular regards to wintry weather events and the Christmas and New Year festive periods.

The meeting was very productive, with measures discussed to better our existing excellent inter agency radio communications.
