Today we are extremely pleased to announce the receipt of a Silver CardiacSmart Award from the NWAS NHS Trust.

Very experienced team Call Out list member Mark Scott recently applied on line for the team to be considered for such, and on Friday 8th November, we received from Chief Executive Bob Williams of NWAS NHS Trust, a notification letter that we had successfully received this award, for our dedication to raising awareness of heart health, basic life support and the use of defibrillators.

Today team Call Out list member (and our Equipment Officer – Medical) Nigel Booth attended a very special awards ceremony, alongside other individuals’ and organisations, to actually receive this fantastic award at the NWAS NHS Trust CardiacSmart Event held this afternoon at Bolton Wanderers’ Reebok Stadium, which commenced at 14.00hrs.
