Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

16th December 2013

On the evening of Tuesday 15th May 2012, we were called out to assist NWAS (Manchester) Emergency Ambulance staff with the rescue and evacuation of a 13 year old boy who had suffered an ankle fracture in fields, in the Mosley Common area of Worsley. (Please see website ‘news’ Incident Report dated the same)

Following this incident last year, we received in December 2012 a very kind Christmas card from Diane Naylor, the grandmother of the young boy, Rico Naylor, who was involved in this accident, alongside a very kind donation, and a thoughtful thank you card from Rico himself.

Today we are very pleased to announce that Diane has again kindly contacted us with a thoughtful Christmas Card, along with a kind and wonderful £50.00 festive donation to the Bolton MRT.

In her Christmas Card, Diane Naylor kindly says;

“To all at Bolton Mountain Rescue.”

“Thank you once again for looking after my grandson Rico Naylor when he broke his ankle in the fields at Mosley Common.”

“Love from Rico and his nana.”

The whole team membership sends Christmas wishes to Diane and her grandson Rico with sincere thanks for this very kind festive donation.

We also send our best wishes that Rico’s ankle is now fully healed, following the operations he had on it last year.
