On Thursday 2nd January 2014, our Team Secretary, Gillian Gregory, called at the Saddle Public House in Horwich, to make one of her regular checks on our collection tins located in the local community.

The licensee, John Manson, hunted high and low for the tin, apologised for not being able to put his hands on it because of a general tidying up for Christmas, and as way of apology very kindly presented Gillian with an extremely generous cheque donation of £50.00 towards the work of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

So, thanks, John, for your kind and generous supportive New Year gesture, which is much appreciated by us all.
