Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

15th January 2014

Yesterday evening our Mountain Rescue Trailing Dog Handler Steve Nelson (A member of SARDA Wales) received two calls for his specialist assistance, one in North Wales and one to possibly assist with a search in the Lake District.

During the evening he was informed he was no longer required for the search in North Wales, and early today, with the sad conclusion to the search for a missing woman in the Lake District, he was similarly no longer required.

Both calls upon Steve’s time did not result in a deployment, and these calls for possible assistance are noted here for the information and interest of our readership and do not feature in our Incident Listings.
