On 1st December 2013, a costumed reading of ‘A Christmas Carol’ was given at Bank Street Unitarian Chapel, Bolton, when donations were raised for the Chapel’s three chosen charities, one being Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

We understand that the fantastic sum of £100.00 was raised on the evening which will be presented to Bolton MRT at the end of the chapel’s charity year in April 2014, but our Team Secretary, Gillian Gregory, has also received a direct donation of £15.00 from Mrs Beryl Woffenden, who attended the reading.

The team is very grateful to Mrs Woffenden for this kind donation towards our work.
