Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

6th February 2014

Given that Team members Mike Marsh and Steve Fletcher are both Scout Leaders with the 25th Bolton Scout Group, it is no surprise that the Scout Group annually visits the team, to allow the newer Scouts to find about about our work, and those who have visited before to consolidate their knowledge of us.

Met at 19.00hrs by Team members Nigel Booth (Our Equipment Officer – Medical) Phil Crook, Matthew Hailwood and Paul Copley, watched over by their Leaders (Bolton MRT members) Steve Fletcher and Mike Marsh, the Scouts were split in to groups for the usual stretcher handling and team kit demonstrations, and a look around our Ladybridge hall Base / HQ based Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances, BM3 and BM4.

Team member Michael Wakerley also attended later during their visit, at the conclusion of which all left having had another interesting visit and promising a future donation to the work of the Bolton MRT.
