Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

23rd March 2014

As of Saturday 8th March this year, Team Call Out list member John Fletcher announced his moving to Cheshire from the Bolton MRT team area and his intention to transfer to North East Wales Search and Rescue Team, where over the previous year he has strengthened his links via water search and rescue training and assistance on related incidents.

John joined our team in January 2010, and of late has been our Equipment Officer – Water, as well as taking the lead in this past year on our water search and rescue training from our Deputy Team Leader Geoff Seddon.

John, who is a White Water Raft Instructor and White Water Rescue Technician, contributed greatly to our integral water search and rescue trained team members, alongside assisting with aspects of our rope rescue training.

As a qualified Electrician running his own company, John also lent his electrical skills to the team on related electrical maintenance and other such works at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.

We all wish John well in his continuing time with Mountain Rescue, now with NEWSAR in North Wales.

Please note the team does not currently have any Team Operational Call Out membership vacancies.
