Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

13th April 2014

This afternoon, former 25th Bolton Scouts James Cropper and George Lonsdale  (both well known to our longer serving team members as ‘regular’ exercise  casualties for us over many years) called in to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to  say hello to their former Scout Leader and team member Steve Fletcher.

With a small number of team members present carrying out kit checking and  maintenance, somehow James and George found themselves volunteering (More correctly “volunteered” by Steve) to carry out some paintwork touch ups to the front bumper of our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance, call sign Bolton Mobile 4.

Thanks to James and George, our 2003 purchased Land Rover now once more has  a gleaming black front bumper.
