Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd May 2014

At 10.41hrs this morning the team was paged by NWAS (Lancashire) EOC Broughton regarding an accident at Rivington.
The call was immediately answered by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, who liaised with the ‘Air Desk’ dispatcher at NWAS EOC Broughton.

During this call it was established that the 999 call for ambulance alongside MRT assistance, involving a injured woman in woodland at the rear of Rivington Hall Barn, had been cancelled, and all responding resources were stood down. Including a pager stand down message to our members at 10.47hrs.

At this stage, some team members were responding to our Team vehicles locations and others in the initial stage of responding directly to Rivington.

This call for our assistance is recorded here for the information and interest of our readership and does not feature in our Incident Listings.
