We are very pleased to report the receipt of a wonderful donation of £50.00 from our friends and supporters at Eccles Rambling and Social Club.

In a letter to our Secretary Gillian Gregory, accompanying this supportive donation,  Robert Pritchard, Honorary Secretary of Eccles Rambling and Social Club stated:

We herewith enclose a Cheque for £50.00 as a donation by Eccles Rambling and Social Club to the Society in appreciation of the work and efforts put in by all your members on our, and other walking clubs, behalf.

It gives our leaders great comfort to know that Mountain Rescue Teams are there should we, or any other Ramblers, get into difficulties out in the Countryside.
