This evening saw the Annual General Meeting, Election of Officers and Business Meeting of the Mid Pennine Search and Rescue Organisation, our regional mountain rescue organisation.

Attended by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE and colleague Bolton MRT team member Elaine Gilliland, the meeting opened at 20.00hrs at the usual venue of Rossendale and Pendle MRT Headquarters at Haslingden.

Amongst the Officer elections, Bolton MRT team member Elaine Gilliland was re-elected to the post of Regional Training Officer and MPSRO Representative to Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

Also present at tonight’s meeting were representatives from Bowland Pennine MRT, Calder Valley SRT, Holme Valley MRT and Rossendale and Pendle MRT.
