Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

13th May 2014

Our Secretary, Gillian Gregory, today received a very welcome letter from Keith Bateson, Director of Music at Bank Street Chapel School of Music.

The letter said:

“I have pleasure in enclosing two cheques to a total value of £682.00. (For Bolton MRT)

The larger of these (£504.00) is a third of the total collected, in chapel, for our three chosen charities for last year.

The other (£178.00) is a result of a concert organised by me exclusively for (Bolton) Mountain Rescue late last year.

I trust this will go some way to helping with the supply of kit etc.”

We are delighted to receive, therefore, a total donation of £682.00 from Bank Street Unitarian Chapel, and wish to pass on the thanks of all our members for this very kind and generous support.

Please also see website ‘News’ entries 5th December 2013 and 24th January 2014.

This very kind donation will be utilised against the purchase of fifty six new Petzl climbing helmets for the entire team membership, a report on which will appear on our website soon.
