On Saturday 10th May 2014, we provided assistance to the large scale Scout Pike View Hike Event 2014, details of which can be viewed within the ‘News’ pages of our website dated the same.
Today we are very happy to report the receipt of a £50.00 donation to the team from the Pike View Hike organisers. In a letter addressed to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, accompanying this kind donation, David Pryar, Pike View Hike Treasurer, states:
“Please find enclosed a donation of £50.00, for the teams recent and continued support to the Pike View Hike.”
We would like to thank those team members who arrived at Bibby’s Farm at 6.00am to help us with the kit check and to those who provided cover through out the day.”
The Bolton MRT is happy to support this challenging event for Scouts, and thanks all involved with this year’s organisation, for this wonderful donation. The 14th Pike View Hike 2015 event is due to take place on Saturday 25th April 2015, and as ever we will be present in support.
