Whilst present providing standby rescue cover for the Horwich Festival of Racing 2014 all day event in Horwich town centre, the twenty three Team Call Out list members present dealt with four separate incidents requiring the teams services:

• The first was a runner who aggravated a pre-existing injury by taking part in the race.
• Two runners suffer exhaustion at the end of there running races.
• A cyclist who was involved in an accident during his race.

An NWAS ambulance was called by team members to attend one of the exhausted runners, out of concern for his condition.
