Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

This afternoon, team call out list member David Crawford visited  Prestwich and Whitefield Townswomen’s Guild at Besses United Reformed Church, Whitefield, where his 95 year old mother is a member.

He was greeted and made welcome by Chair Joan Amelan.

David gave an illustrated talk on the work and diverse activities of the Bolton Mountain Rescue team.

This was followed by questions and an opportunity for members to look inside one of our team Land Rovers, Bolton Mobile 3.

The ladies were impressed by the wide range of work we undertake and the commitment shown by the members.

At the end of the talk David was presented with a marvellous cheque for £30.00 and was delighted to receive a further £30.96 in donations from the audience.

He would like to thank the members of the Guild for their interest in the work of the team and their hospitality and generosity on the day.
