Today we are very happy to report the receipt via a letter to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE of a very kind donation of £250.00 from our very valued and dear friends and supporters at the Rotary Club of Turton.
Colin Roberts, Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Turton, stated in the letter accompanying this wonderful donation;
“Dear Garry.
Our President David Biggar who finishes his term of office at the end of this month has included your Charity in his list of charities to benefit from monies raised by the Club in the current Rotary year.
I am pleased to enclose a cheque for £250.00 in favour of your Charity.”
The whole team membership finds itself again in the position of offering our sincere thanks to the fantastic Rotarians at Turton Rotary Club for their much appreciated and kindly continuing support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
Including todays absolutely wonderful donation, since September 2008, the kindly Rotarians of Turton Rotary Club have raised an astonishing £2,550.00 in seven separate donations to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, for which we are truly grateful.
