Further to our involvement in a large scale search operation to locate a missing man centred upon the Abram / Bryn Gates area of Wigan, on Thursday 7th August 2014 (See Incident Report 77 – 2014)  we understand that yesterday morning GMP were alerted to a body found in the Ince area of Wigan – outside our tasked search areas.

The condolences of the Bolton MRT, Rossendale and Pendle MRT and Cheshire SART, who were all jointly involved in this search operation, are expressed to the family, friends and colleagues of the man concerned.
