This evening we recommenced our lecture presentations on the work of the team, after a short late summer recess, to interested members of the Lancashire Mountaineering Club, at their meeting venue of the Belmont Bull Public House, Belmont.
On hand to discuss the work of the team was our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Equipment Officer – Water, Dave Cook, Equipment Officer – Base / HQ Paul Copley and long serving team member Chris Tennant.
Commencing at 20.30hrs, The usual DVD presentations followed, with many questions put to our four members present.
The circa 20x Lancashire Mountaineering Club members present were then invited to view our attending Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance, BM3 and our Incident Control Vehicle BM6, on display outside within the pub car park.
At the conclusion of their presentation, a very kind impromptu donation of £35.00 was handed over to the team from the Lancashire Mountaineering Club members who had been present.
