We have previously reported that two other UK search & rescue organisations (in addition to ourselves) are all in the running for a local grant of up to £3,000 from the Lloyds Community Fund.
Our colleagues at Oldham Mountain Rescue Team and Norfolk Lowland Search & Rescue Team are both running appeals for votes to receive up to £3,000 from the fund awards which are operating in their respective local areas.
(Bolton MRT have previously supported Norfolk Lowland Search & Rescue Team with donations of equipment)
Don’t forget – you can vote for Bolton MRT by tweeting #COMMFUND CKK, or by texting VOTE CKK to 61119.
You can also vote online here, or alternatively cast your vote in person at branches of Lloyds at Salmesbury BAE, Blackburn Church St, Blackburn Mill Hill, Darwen and Halliwell (Bolton).
This morning we received a very kind invitation to display at any time, for the duration of this Lloyds Community Fund period (Ending Friday 10th October 2014) a team vehicle outside the Darwen branch of Lloyds Bank on 213 – 215 Duckworth Street, Darwen, BB3 1AU.
We are currently looking at some dates to appear here, which will be announced via our website and linked Facebook and Twitter sites.
