Dave Marsh our Trainee Drowned Victim Search Dog Handler and Trainee DVSD Dog Sasha, once again spent this morning and into lunchtime carrying out some DVSD training on the waters of Pennington Flash at Leigh, utilising our 3.4 metre long semi rigid inflatable SAR Boat.

Accompanying Dave was DVSD Graded Search Dog handler Mike Dermody of British Transport Police with his DVSD Search Dog Quincy.

This is all part of Dave’s and Sasha’s continuing training as they fast approach their impending grading as a DVSD Handler and Dog soon, which will then enable Dave to deploy operationally on searches.
