This morning team members Steve Nelson and Elaine Gilliland set off for the journey north to the Cairngorms to attend this years Mountain Rescue Conference.

Being held over this weekend, The Mountain Rescue Gathering 2014 is the United Kingdom and Irish Mountain Rescue Conference, themed around a large variety of outdoor training and awareness sessions, hosted by Scottish Mountain Rescue with its venue in Aviemore.

Steve and Elaine are present to give a presentation on the work of Mountain Rescue Trailing Search Dogs, as well as attending the sessions on offer.
