Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

27th September 2014

This evening, Lee Lane in Horwich was closed for a fancy dress street party alongside live music, fair rides, street performers and dance groups with the purpose of bringing the local businesses and community together as well as raising money for Derian House Children’s Hospice.

The organiser of tonight’s event Jo (Joanne) Taylor of the Saddle Public House, Lee Lane, Horwich had also kindly invited local charities to this event who were also able to raise donations.

A very busy street party in Horwich!

The team attended in our BM4 Land Rover Mountain Rescue ambulance BM4 (straight from incident 83/2014) with team members Mark Scott, Mike Marsh, and our life vice president Alan James attending.

With many grateful thanks to the kind people of Horwich we raised £11 at tonight’s event.
