Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

3rd October 2014

Followers of our website will know that former and very successful Bolton MRT Mountain Rescue Air Scenting Dog Handler, who operated for many years with Chi, started training a few years back now with Sasha, to become a Mountain Rescue Drowned Victim Search Dog Handler (DVSD Team with Sasha – who does all the hard work!)

We are extremely pleased to announce that as of today, Dave has been assessed in Northern Ireland by SARDA Ireland North, and has now been graded as a working DVSD Dog Handler with Sasha being graded as a working DVSD Search Dog.

This now means that Dave and Sasha can operate on operational incidents, throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

This is fantastic news for Dave and Sasha, his family who have been incredibly supportive, and the vast number of people who have assisted Dave and Sasha over the years reach this fantastic achievement.

We also have two Mountain Rescue Air Scenting Dog Teams in training (Trainee Handler Paul Chisholm, Trainee Dog Bella, and Trainee Handler Jess Ellsmore, Trainee Dog Blitz)
