With reduced members available to Oldham MRT this weekend, as some of their team were in North Wales renewing acquaintances with Coastguard friends, we and other neighbouring teams were asked to provide additional resources should Oldham MRT require such in their home team area in case of incident.

Thankfully we’ve received no such calls since yesterday evening.
