Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

29th October 2014

Regular readers will be aware via our website that on Good Friday 2014, the team came to the rescue of Chloe Southworth, who suffered a leg injury on Rivington Pike whilst enjoying the sunny day with her father, uncle and cousin.

Chloe was immediately tended to by team members on the day, and was flown to hospital by the North West Air Ambulance (Please see website ‘News’ report dated Good Friday, 18th April 2014).

Since her accident that day, Chloe has very kindly offered to support the North West Air Ambulance and Bolton Mountain Rescue Team charities in her role as Rose Queen for 2014-2015 at St. Peter’s Church in Chorley.

Yesterday afternoon we received a note from Chloe’s mother, Karen, with details of Chloe’s latest fundraising activity in support of BMRT and the NWAA. Chloe will be hosting a Charity Tea Dance at St. Peter’s Church in Chorley on Sunday 2nd November 2014, 2-4pm (entry £2 for adults and £1 for children).

There will be a traditional afternoon tea, bake sale and raffle, and also a selection of dances as part of the show. A leaflet with the full details can be downloaded here: tea dance poster to charities

The team wishes Chloe all the very best for her fundraising efforts for Bolton MRT and the North West Air Ambulance!
