Today saw the twice yearly meeting of our national body, MREW England and Wales, at its usual location of Lancashire Constabulary Force Duty Headquarters, Hutton, Preston.

Various sub committees and working groups met in the morning, with the main business meeting in the afternoon.

Attending from our team, but ‘slightly interrupted’ by leaving and then returning at stand down, to attend our Incident 91, were Steve Nelson, in his guise as representative for SARDA Wales, and Elaine Gilliland, attending as our Regional (MPSRO) representative to the Training Sub Committee meeting.

Both went on to stay and attend the afternoon main business meeting.

Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, who normally attends as our teams representative, at short notice due to family matters and Incident 92 could not attend.
