This dark and very wet late autumnal evening, saw our trainee mountain rescue air scenting dog handler Jess Ellsmore and her trainee air scenting search dog Blitz, training at Wilderswood, on the fringes of the moors high above Horwich.

Jess was joined by colleague Bolton MRT Call Out list members Michael Wakerley and Phil Crook, alongside Bolton MRT probationary member Heath Doran (Attending as part of his probationary training)

Also kindly assisting was Phil’s stepson Harry Southern.
