Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

28th November 2014

Saturday 29th November starting at 10.00hrs is an Open Day event at GMFRS Farnworth Community Fire Station.
We will be attending (call outs permitting) with our VW Crafter Incident Control Vehicle, our Ford Transit crewbus / Ambulance, and one of our four Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances.

Besides operational team members being present, we’ll also have members of our Support Group attending with our end of year 2nd hand books ‘bundles’ available at whatever donation you wish to make.

GMFRS will have all their based Fire Appliances on display, alongside the Water Incident Unit from Eccles Fire Station, the Dennis Metz vintage turntable appliance from Greater Manchester Fire Museum, and an operational Ladder Platform Appliance (Simon Snorkel) which is giving ‘rides’ in the basket to members of the public visiting.

There’ll be plenty of side shows and RTC extrication demonstrations throughout the day.

Why not take a break from your shopping in Farnworth, and call in for this free Open Day event at GMFRS Farnworth Community Fire Station.
