The whole team meets for weekly training every Wednesday evening, but occasionally ad hoc training is held at other times, often covering specific subjects or topics in greater detail.

At 12.00 noon today at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ our Training Officer Alistair Greenough – a full time Accident and Emergency Nurse by profession held a casualty care training session.

Items covered included Anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system, chest examination and the management of chest injuries.

Three team members took part, long serving operational member Mark Scott and probationary members Carol Truman and Heath Doran.

By 13.45hrs this training session was completed.
