Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

8th December 2014

Over the course of this previous weekend, Bolton MRT member and DVSD Search Dog Handler Dave Marsh (Who is also Secretary of NSARDA) travelled across the Irish Sea to the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland.

Along with Woodhead MRT member and SARDA England Search Dog Handler Ken Sloan, they assessed one of SARDA Ireland North’s rookie search dog teams over a two day period.

The handler, Davey Carlile and Dog Heidi undertook to search four areas- each of two hours duration, over two days, whilst consistently showing all the attributes expected from them as a working search dog team.

It is pleasing to note that the partnership passed with flying colours and are now available for operational call out searches.

Have a look a SARDA Ireland North’s web site site for further information.
