Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

26th December 2014

With the Boxing Day festivities at Rivington including the traditional meeting of the Holcombe Hunt, for a great many years we have had a team presence in the area throughout this day.

Meeting at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ at 11.30hrs, three Team Land Rover Defender Mountain Rescue Ambulances, each with three team members on board, were present in Rivington this wet and wintry day.

These team members included five operational Call Out list members ; DVSD Dog handler Dave Marsh, Chairman Craig Lamb, Deputy Team Leader Chris Greenhalgh, Chris Weatherhead, Michael Wakerley, Trainee Team member Gary Melia and three probationary members ; Heath Doran, Neil Haigh and Rasti Schweizer.

There were no calls upon the services of the team members present today.

Three further team members were present at our Ladybdrige Hall Base / HQ if needed to respond in to our team area for incident;

Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE was present with our Equipment Officer – IT and Communications Steve Fletcher (this time though wearing his 1 of 2 team webmasters head) updating some of the contents of our website, whilst Mike Marsh was present to further hand out more of our new team jackets.
