Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

Today nine team operational members met at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to undertake some casualty care revision, in preparation for our usual provision of assistance to NWAS Greater Manchester on New Years Eve and the early hours of New Years Day.

Alistair Greenough our Training Officer, who is a full time very long experienced Accident and Emergency Nurse, provided his expertise to team members Deputy Team Leader Chris Greenhalgh, Call Out Contact Mike Marsh, Equipment Officer – IT and Communications Steve Fletcher, Equipment Officer – Vehicles Neil Aspinall, Treasurer Martin Banks, Diane Blakeley, Equipment Officer – Medical Nigel Booth and Equipment Officer – Water Dave Cook, who all attended.

This training session covered Immediate Life Support, Recognising sickness in children and medication administration, amongst other casualty care revision topics.
