Today we are very pleased to announce the receipt of a very kind and thoughtful donation from Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, Bank Top, Darwen, Lancashire.
In a letter received by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Mrs Jane Hollows, Deputy Head of Holy Trinity C of E Primary School stated;
“Dear Mr Rhodes.
I enclose a donation from a collection held prior to Christmas in school, of £47.33p for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
Over Christmas a member of our staff was rescued by your team after breaking her leg near Darwen Tower (Webmaster, our Incident 100 of Monday 29th December 2014, please see website ‘News’ entry dated the same)
Our donation is a small token to say thank you.
June (Webmaster 64 year old Mrs June Stemp of Darwen) is recovering well following an operation last week.
