This morning at 08.57hrs, the team was paged by NWAS (GM)Parkway EOC, requesting the teams availability status, with regards to the heavy snowfalls occurring in parts of Greater Manchester, and the likely impacts on the provision of NWAS’s normal activities.

Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE answered the call, and provisions were put in to place for today should the team be needed.

As of reporting this – 13.30hrs, no calls have been received by the team, but we understand our colleagues at Oldham MRT, under the same activation by NWAS, have been out operationally in their team area.
