Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

On Tuesday 31st March 2015, the Bolton MRT will be attending ‘Emergency 999’ being held at LFRS Training Centre, Washington Hall, Euxton Lane, Chorley, Lancashire.

This event which is not open to the public, is a multi agency ‘Show and Tell’ day for Category 1 and 2 Responders, which includes Public Sector, Statutory 999 and Voluntary Sector services.

It is being planned as an event at which the assets and capabilities which would be available in the event of a ‘Major Incident’ in Lancashire, can be show cased, with all the liaison and net working opportunities such an event will offer.

Two sessions are being held during the day, at 09.00 – 12.00hrs and 13.30 – 16.30hrs.

So far the following agencies are known to be attending and displaying their numerous resources;

  • Lancashire Constabulary
  • Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service
  • North West Ambulance Service
  • British Red Cross
  • Bay Search and Rescue
  • HM Coast Guard
  • Highways Agency
  • Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal
  • North west Police Underwater Search and Marine Unit
  • Fire Service DIM Team
  • WRVS
  • National Police Air Service
  • 42 Brigade British Army
  • Mountain Rescue Teams from Bolton MRT, Rossendale and Pendle MRT and Bowland Pennine MRT
