Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

22nd February 2015

On Wednesday 21st August 2013 we were kindly donated an AED by Tracey Wilkinson, Fundraising Manager of Bolton ICD Support Group.

This AED currently equips our Ford Transit Minibus / Crewbus Ambulance (With AEDs in all six of our Team vehicles)

At that time Bolton ICD Support Group had ambitious plans to raise more funds to buy other AEDs for use in the local community, with ‘ours’ being the sixth donated at the time by Bolton ICD Support Group.
Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, received an email from Tracey Wilkinson, Fundraising Manager of Bolton ICD Support Group;

“Thank you for your continuing support for our #defibs4bolton campaign.

To date we have donated 63 defibrillators and want to attempt to have donated 100 by the end of 2015.

We currently have 35 schools, sports clubs and community groups on our waiting list and it continues to grow.

So we are appealing for your help to spread the word of two of our forthcoming events.

  • Sunday 15th March – Table Top Sale – Plodder Lane Conservative Club – 1-4pm
  • Monday 6th April – Easter Family Fun Day – Kearsley Cricket Club – 1-5pm

It would be a great help if you could spread the word.

Thank you in advance.

Regards, Tracey Wilkinson, Fundraising Manager, Bolton ICD Support Group.”

To have purchased and then donated so many AEDs since those early days is a fantastic achievement, and we fully support our friends at Bolton ICD Support Group in their continuing campaign.

We’ll be present with a Team Land Rover Defender Mountain Rescue Ambulance at the Easter Family Fun day on Monday 6th april 2015, why not pop along to support Bolton ICD Support Group on Easter Monday.
