Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

23rd February 2015

Six members of our Support Group undertook their first store charity collection of the year at ASDA Burnden on Saturday 21st February 2015.

Present to carry out the collection on a rota basis were Iain Clarkson, Sarah Hindle, Dave Rees, Julie Thompson, Lee Grice and Gillian Gregory, with help from Steve James who recently transferred from the Support Group to the operational side of the Team as a Trainee Team member.

Thanks to the generosity of ASDA’s customers, we received donations in our collection buckets to the marvellous total of £256.50.

We wish to thank all the kind shoppers who stopped to talk to our collectors and dropped their contributions into our collection buckets.

Special thanks also go to the management of ASDA Burnden, for allowing our collection to take place in their store and to Tracey Smith, their Community Life Champion, for her assistance in the arrangements and for making our collectors so welcome.”
