This evening, fifteen Cadets from Radcliffe ATC, accompanied by their Civilian Instructor David Green and two other Adult Instructors, visited the team at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.
Arriving at circa 19.35hrs, they were met by our Equipment officer – Base / HQ and Catering Paul Copley, Equipment Officer – Medical Nigel Booth, and Trainee Team members Steve James and Heath Doran.
Joining later was our Equipment Officer – Water David Cook.
The very attentive and interested Air Cadets and their Instructors were given the usual demonstrations of our search and rescue equipment, casualty care equipment, and the two Land Rover Defender Mountain Rescue Ambulances we have garaged at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.
The opportunity to do some CPR training was also taken, with all the Air Cadets being a very attentive and enthusiastic audience.
They departed at 21.15hrs, with a promise to look in to some fund raising for the Bolton MRT.
A second group from Radcliffe ATC is due to visit us at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ on the evening of Tuesday 28th April 2015.
