As we reported on 1st April 2015, Sharon & Alan Jones, licencees of Ye Jolly Crofters public house, Chorley Old Road, Horwich, held an Easter raffle to raise funds for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team. A large Easter basket of chocolate goodies and wine was on offer and their kind customers bought tickets throughout the Easter weekend.  Today our Team Secretary, Gillian Gregory, was asked to visit the pub to collect a fantastic donation of £202 raised.

Sharon and Alan were delighted at their customers’ generosity and the total raised, and pledged to hold another fundraising event for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team later this year. We in the Team would all like to thank them and their customers for their great support, and hope that the winner of the Easter basket – “Phil” – enjoys his prize.
