Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

3rd May 2015

This morning starting at 11.30hrs, seven team members met at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to carry out some minor yet essential maintenance tasks on all four of our Land Rover Defender Mountain Rescue Ambulances.

Our Team Equipment Officer – Vehicles Neil Aspinall was on hand to direct proceedings, with mud flaps refixed, trim repaired and spare wheels checked over, with proceedings brought to a halt by Incident 37, an emergency call out to Hawkshaw, Darwen (just as our Chairman Craig Lamb had brewed up for everyone present)

At the conclusion of Incident 37, all returned to complete the works necessary, being joined by an eighth team member.

Meanwhile our Equipment Officer – IT and Communications Steve Fletcher and our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE were busy with the task of completely revising and updating our teams Call Out List, which essentially is our directory of telephone numbers regarding all the business and emergency operations the team carries out.
