Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

13th May 2015

Our readers are aware that we are currently in the process of reviewing our rope access training, which is a direct follow on to the training received on the recent visit by five team members to Lyon Equipment on Saturday 18th April 2015 (Please see website report dated the same)

This afternoon three team members met at our GMFRS Bolton North Community Fire Station garage, and further practiced and reviewed our rope access training.

Present for this training was Team Equipment Officer – Ropes and Stretchers Nigel Booth, Trainee team member Heath Doran and our Training Officer Alistair Greenough.

Again following the usual format, very comprehensive and intense training took place, including a debrief on the methods utilised to raise our SAR Alpine Lite Mountain Rescue Stretcher on our Wednesday evening weekly exercise of 6th May 2015 (Please see website ‘News’ report dated the same)

This is part of  a series of awareness sessions in rope access training being undertaken within the team membership by Team Equipment Officer – Ropes and Stretchers Nigel Booth and our Training Officer Alistair Greenough.
